Got a pistol probe to go with my explorer se, anyone have anything I may wanna know ?

only that its hard to work with the se due to the fact they interfere with each other i got one the same time i got my se but could not use it gave it to my stepson and got garette pro pointer instead love the pro pointer the pistol probe is nice and my stepson loves it so good luck it may have been me not pinpointer but i have heard others speak of the interfearance problem between the se and pistol probe i was abit dissapointed as it was a coastly leason and i liked the reviews i saw on the depth of the pistol probe good hunting

I have the pistol probe also, I usually hit the menu button when i start probing. It is a good probe and goes deep but is large to handle. I got the garrett pro pointer and use that exclusively now, but the pistol probe would be good for relic hunting. I'll probably bring both of them on a relic hunt.

Thanks guys, will give it a try and go from there I guess. Have tried a few probes hoping to find one that is all around good. Thanks again

now in the marked only two good pin pointers Garrett and sun ray x-1. Garrett for coins and not in very littered with iron places, but x-1 you can use best in iron even for smallest things. because explorers likes to loose targets if item small and allot iron around in the same hole. x-1 saves time end helps explorer. but in usual situations is garrett winner.

I have heard its a great probe but that it might get some interference from the detector or the other way around.

I love my Pistol Probe... I have the Explorer SE Pro and the interference is easy enough to counter by changing the frequency settings on the Pistol Probe. It is absolutely accurate and DEEP. Saves me lots of time and is a real workhorse in the field. Worth every bit I paid for it! Only thing I'm doing to make it better is to get to modify the holding case so the strap to hold it into the case works better - they made that strap just a bit too short and it is a pain in the @ss to close over the probe when you holster it...
