Got another Injun:detecting:

I know it is not a "great" find in its own right but it is a moral victory for me. You see, I had made it a goal to increase my Injun finds this year. I had maybe 1 or 2 total in the past several seasons with is really bad. I have seen so many posted here so I said enough is enough. This year I'm gonna find my share.

Hit a park for a short hour long hunt with my 9 y.o. daughter and Ashdigger. This park has skunked me more times than not but has a nice playground area for Kayla to play on when she got bored of detecting. in at least a dozen trips to this park I have 3 mercs and 2 wheaties to show here, but it has a great history, very popular, and even had Civil War soldiers camped here. But the coins are sparse because it has been hit hard.

30 minutes into my hunt I had not 1 signal that even interested me, then near the playground i got a nice signal where injuns usually hit. The depth read only around 4 inches so I figured it was just going to be a deep zincoln cent but I was sure was hoping;)

cut a small plug, it was in there and saw the green disc roll out, got excited because I knew immediately it wasnt a zincoln. once I picked it up I saw the indian and sure got excited.

So far that is #4 injun in the past 4 weeks. Way ahead of my past average and in line with my goal for the year of findng more.:yo:
