hello garrett users well this machine so far is not bad have found a few coins with it i will say depth meter is accurate feels good to my arm really like the rubber grip vs the foam the graphic image thing there just like one member said got to swing on both sides of 7- to 14" both sides to accurate reading got to give it alittle more time but i think i'm going to like this machine for sure the only down side it is heavy for sure if your use to swinging tesoro's

The 'Profiling' is time based, so you have to swing at a measured speed, and evenly to either side.
It is a tad heavy if you come from Tesoros.
But can I suggest you avoid the habit of slipping the battery box on your belt, in an attempt to lighten it up?. It helps very little, and the coiled power cable doesn't hold up too well to the stress.
 
Yeah I used to swing Tesoros for many years and still have one but I think you'll like this one. It is very sensitive so work at it slow until you get the hang of it. When I field tested the prototype it was so super sensitive I had to tell Garrett to tone it down a bunch. Good luck and we'll look forward to your success.

That ain't no crap. That wire ain't much bigger than fishing line. I don't know what the engineers were smoking when they dreamed that puppy up but I'd like to have some. HA.

Well before i head into work tomorrow i'm to take a hour at a nearby park that goes back to the 1880's and this spring did get a nice v nickel with my deleon at the time, i do notice on this rig depth is really accurate on read out
