Well today I had Jury duty and went to the court house. The judge ask if any one was over 70 and had any health problems.I didn't want to lie so I said was over 70,he call be up to his seat.He ask me how old and my problem,I told him about my diabetes and I was 71.He said the State will excuse you.Thank you Sir.So now my name is off the jury list and now I feel unwanted. But life is still good.

Ya'll have fun now

Proper response would be "I'm not sure, however, I have yet to meet a lawyer I thought to be honest, moral, or trustworthy."

... or ....

"No, I'm proud to serve on the jury and help the police get scumbags off the street."

When got called I told the Truth That I was Over 90 and I have a hard time understanding what people say But I would be willing to serve---I had to bring my Birth Certificate to prove I was that old (Elson had to bring his in because they kept telling Him He Was 110 and a World War 1 Veteran) ---Only thing I Really told the Judge was since I misunderstood words; I would Vote them Guilty because they Would Not Have Been Arrested If They Were Not Guilty---The Judge gave me a dirty look and Dismissed me !

writing something down when I told them I was a policeman. Next thing they told me was, Thank you, you can go home now". My ex-wife was on a jury when the perpetrator was a policeman. We were both surprised they allowed her to hear the case. The guys ex-wife had called him up and asked him to get her some marijuana, and like an idiot he did...then she turned him in!!! Not a smart move on his part!
