Got lucky at a local park

Went out to a park that I haven't tried before. Got two really nice Indian Head cents, 1889 and 1903, and a 1911-D Barber Dime yesterday afternoon. I went back today and found a 1942 quarter at about 7". The dirt at this park seems different that what I'm used to around here. The Indians are well preserved with very little corrosion while the quarter came out completely gray on both sides and has grainy surfaces. The dime was masked by some trash and has a large green spot on the front. Usually the silver I find is problem free while the Indians look pretty rough. Either way, I'm pretty happy with this park and hope to get back several more times before the snow flies.
