Got my 10.5 dd today

7centsworth

Well-known member
I just got my medium frequency coil. They now say 7.5 on coil instead of mf. I will probably do a little civil war relic hunting later . Can not wait to see the results.

I believe you will really like it, I love mine. HH!

I did not get to relic hunt with it today, but I went to a place that I have hunted before and found a white house presidential residence token. The coil is heavier but not as bad as I figured it would be.

If you decide to clad hunt for the heck of it, the 10.5" DD you have is a quarter magnet too!!
This coil can cover a lot of ground quickly and if a quarter is there, you will find it.
The photo is of todays finds with the X-Terra 50 armed with the 10.5" DD med. freq. coil.
Good luck with your new weapon,
Felix

Finding quarters like that you can buy alot of detector things.

I believe it has also got a wider detection field than the 5 x 10 HF. I have an easier time pinpointing with the 5 x 10. It is also not a sensitive to the very small junk I get with the HF coil.

Anybody know if the 10.5 HF will hit the very fine stuff that the 6" and 5x10 FH coils get?

I have found .22 bullets at 8 inches with the HF 10.5 DD
