After having this new machine for a couple months, I went out Sunday and monday with a friend that has one. Sunday got a couple deep wheats 6-8 " and the usual clad near the surface.
Monday I went out by myself to an older park 1860 to present. second target was a quarter at 5". 1918D St lib quarter vg - f

well, the powers that be edited my post. i saw joka at the big hunt on a colonial site!

Them Standing Liberty Quarters are tough to find with dates on them especially that old. Nice find! If that is left in the Park, there is tons more waiting to be found. Good Luck and HH.:detecting:

You go to Chicago parks by yourself  Every park I've hunted in Chicago all the buildings around the park had bars on them and they didn't roll out the welcome mat for us either. We got kicked out of one by a park security guard with a gun. You have many great places to hunt up there I'm sure you'll have hands full of old coins real soon. GL & HH Ken

Super find. The standing Liberty is notorious for the dates wearing off. Congratulations
