Got my first silver quarter with the SE tonight

I spent most of the afternoon hunting an old park.I dug a bunch of clad and 3 wheaties.I stopped at an old spot by my house on the way home.It was dark and the bugs were getting bad.I hunted about 3 minutes got a 00-31 real sweet high shrill tone,it pinpointed deep.I carefully dug a 1941 Washington quarter in good shape.The quarter was about 8 inches deep.The site is trashy so I'm going back in the morning with the small coil on.I sure hope it rains as the ground is like concrete here.Bill

The ground seems to be hard just about everywhere
this time of year so you were very fortunate to find
that quarter at 8 inches. Good going, Gold Nuggets :wiggle:
 
Funny thing is that you got lucky with that find since it should have read 29-00 on the Se. 31 is usually a Rusty Bolt, Nut or something else but the thing that gave it away here was the 00 Ferrous Content. Good Eye! Hope you get more tomorrow and Good Luck and HH to you.:thumbup:
