Got my new SEF coil today!! :biggrin:

I got it on the 7th day after mailing my check. Thanks JW for the prompt shipping!! I went with the 12 X 15 size to start with but may get the 10 X 12 as well if I like it's performance. I really like how it has a flat bottom without all those holes like the Minelab pro coil does & it has some solid sturdy ears for attaching the lower rod. I have a 3 day weekend to give it a good testing.

Is this the the Detech SEF or the EXcelerator?

Hrmm, that's odd. I can only find the EXcelerator on KellyCo, and I find the Detech on a couple British sites like JoanAllen. The one at the British sites is over $100 more than the Kellyco SEF. Does anyone have a link to some story or bit of information detailing the two "brand" names coming from the same manufacturer?
