I did a air test in bp mode with a large cent today and wow i was at like 15 inches.
I have been usung a regular t2 for about 8 months now and i was gonna get the t2 se or the f75 se.
Since i am now getting good with the t2 i did not want to have to totally learn a diffrrent detector.
Any advice on using the bp ands cl modes.
Rich at colonial detectors delivered this personally at a unbeatable
price with a rod and 5 inch coil.

I am wondering if you run it at bp mode in 0 disc,is that a boost on top of a boost?
I noticed the t2 se is a little unstable in bp mode at plowed fields..IS this because im at 0 disc.
Also it says that you should put it in cache mode in disc, then switch to all metal.I dont understand this i thought it eliminated disc when you switched to all metal..
ANy help is much appreciated.

it is a very power machine ....to hunt in boost ALL METAL or BP AM that is the procedure ......
I have both the 75 LTD and I now own a new T2 SE as well ... I love booth but 75 takes more to master and the T2 SE is a straight up Power House
17-18 Disc and as high as you can run a stable machine in sensitivty(80-93) in BP is usually the ticket for super deep recoveries for me in the field ....I do run 0 a lot but would not recommend until you have over 100+ hrs on these machines......Do not be afraid to run as Low as 20 sensitivty... I have found a half at 20 plus inches in sugar sand.....you just got to have your Ears ON.......It will hunt REAL Deep.....Take your time and learn this one like your life depended on ......like you had to MINE HUNT .....this will up... the pressure knowing that you will loose your leg... if you do not pay attention.....these R some of the mind sets ....I use to dig deeper .....Inside myself...
I must say i am a little frustrated. It jumps around quite a bit in bp mode..IT does not seem to target identify to well in bp mode.I did hit a section of woods today with no trash and i liked the fact that i was running wide open in bp mode...If something was there i was finding it..1838 large cent is what i got.
Only about 6 inches i would of got that with my regular t2.
I figure why bother owning a t2 se if your gonna run the sensitivity at 20..
Im trying to justify buying the se..I did need a backup..

there are times when i use the standard T2 modes and there are times when only the bp and cache mode are the way to go.....
did not mean to seem hard ......I like the fact that you have a since of humor... made me smile 2..
I have not seen a sensitive machine yet that was not all over the place when you run the gain to high for the area Ground you are hunting....
as long as I can maintain a somewhat stable audio...and just sputter on iron....I just look at the meter when i hear what i know is right....the way and how
they bounce will tell you a lot on fringe targets.....
Hey Jim its hard to offend me....Actually its almost impossible
After what happened to me today my whole attitude is changed about the T2 SE..
Im working on pictures right now ill put a new post soon..
