It warmed up Friday and Sat into the 50's...most all of the snow was gone. I hit the local sledding hill Sat with the F70 and found some clad laying exposed on top of the ice. Then I hit a few totlots with meager pickings, and also went and got that Quarter signal :thumbup:that I couldn't get when the ground was frozen and a few more flyers along the way. Was home by 10am, 63 coins, 5.69...I went back out of course with my other brand machine and got in the water until 3:30 Now its spitting ice rain and 30 degrees. It sure was good to get out and hunt!

Wow that's some serious dedication.

I've been hunkered down for the last few days myself looking out the window at freezing rain and sleet. Wednesday is my next window of opportunity. Warmer weather and sunshine will be calling me out to do some serious detecting. :detecting:

Thanks fellas...i've been busy hunting for an alternate mode of transportation since my truck had a massive head gasket failure late last week. :stretcher: The wife dont seem to like me taking her ride to do what I do...so...maybe I'll find a good little pony for my hunting rig this week. Some guy is coming today to buy whats left of my truck:cry:.
