It was a buckle kind of day. I didn't find any coppers, but my friend found 3. So now we are tied at 5 each in our race for the most coppers.:twodetecting: But the other stuff was plentiful! About 65 degrees out today, picture perfect (except for those pesky ticks). HH everyone.

WOW Coinnut , What a nice Hunt :clapping:
You guys seriously have ticks already ?
Love all the old relics , especially the pin ?
in the second pic . Is that a dog face on it ? It is very cool

Terri

hey had a good time it was a beautiful day , huh ? very nice buckles buddy , you'll get'em next time on the coppers . mine were pretty worn or beat up .
here's my haul ,Dan

Lots of old relics in your hunts guys.
Interesting finds !:clapping:

wow, coinnut, i see you had a real good day too. those are some really neat buckles! a lot of times i pull flatbuttons out, i think for a second that it's an old copper, but hey, i'll take 'em! great hunt, coinnut, and i'm glad you got out. don't worry about the old coppers, they'll soon present themselves. thanks, and hh!

Congrats on the great hunt Y'all! Those are some sweet buckles and I really like th lions face thingy! Good job for sure, Beale.

Those look like they would date from 1780 or before. The fell out of favor in the 1790s.

Nice finds. You must have been near a dump site to get so many?

Thanks, We figured around 1750's or so, as the site was producing King George II's. I figured the place burned and then rebuilt, and they threw the ash out back. My buddies haul was about 4 or 5 more buckles. It was a good hunt and loved the fact that it was finally WARM!!!! HH.

Hey Terri, Yes we have ticks already, so If you need some PM me and I'll send them over:rofl: Can't stand those little critters! That pin looks like a dog face and is really odd, probably older than 1800. Going out Thursday to a hunted out site, but a good one. Can't wait. (Like a kid at Christmas). HH

nice finds coinnut ,can't wait to get out myself, still 3' of the white frozen stuff,I hope you and your friend more great finds this spring,NH ANDY.
