GOT RIPPED OFF ON E-BAY:wacko:

FOUND A NICE DETECTOR BAG ON E-BAY ---A LITTLE DIFFERENT FROM THE REST OF THEM ---BIG OPENINGS ON BOTH SIDES.SELLER ADVISED ON ADVERTISMENT THAT HE WILL MAIL UPS AND WILL BE AUTOMATICALLY BE INSURED FOR $100.I SENT HIM THE POSTAL MONEY ORDER.HE DID A TURN-A-ROUND AND MAILED IT USPS---PARCEL POST AND DID NOT INSURE IT OR GET A TRACKING LABEL.NEEDLESS TO SAY THAT 17 DAYS LATER I STILL HAVE NOT GOTTEN MY PACKAGE AND E-BAY DOES NOTHING EXCEPT GO THROUGH SOME RED-TAPE AND SMOKE SCREEN.
THE MAN WILL NOT ANSWER MY E.MAILS PLUS HE HAS MY MONEY AND E-BAY DOES NOTHING BUT WANTS ME TO SETTLE THE DISPUTE?HOW DO YOU SETTLE WITH SOMEONE THAT DOES NOT ANSWER YOUR MESSAGES?WHAT A RIP-OFF:veryangry:HAVE TRIED THE POST OFFICE GAVE ALL THE INFORMATION TO THEM----NO SUCH LUCK

TIMES ARE REALLY GETTING BAD WHEN E-BAY PROTECTS CROOKS AND DOES NOTHING TO THEMI GUESS I HAVE TO HIRE DIRTY-HARRY.

heres how to get someones phone number. be aware they and ebay will receive an e mail that you requested there info ( phone number )
Hopefully the steps are still the same as its been awhile sinse I had to do this.

You will need the auction number and their User ID.

Sorry to hear about your getting ripped off, Bill! It is a sad, sad world with a lot of greed and dishonesty! Hope you get it taken care of and, remember, it is in the Lord's hands and He will do more than we can ever do to teach the person their lesson by the trials and troubles they will have to go through before forgiveness from God, if and when they ask Him! Keep the faith and forgive the person.....don't carry bitterness or unforgiveness in your heart, as it will do you harm and not good! Praying for the person to make good on the Ebay buy!

I was a power seller on ebay for 5 years and let me give you this piece of info, do not buy from anyone unless they accept paypal and unless their feedback is at LEAST 99%

paypal will refund the buyers money no questions asked unless the seller can give them "proof" they shipped the item, and proof has to be a tracking number or delivery confirmation number

I refuse to buy from anyone who does not accept paypal, as they will protect the buyer

sorry about what happened to you. Also a new rule on ebay that does NOT let the seller leave you negative feedback, so make sure you let everyone know he stiffed you.

..He entered a bid for a H-D motorcycle,I think it was 8 grand-got an e-mail informing him the previous higher bidder backed out,wanted to know if he still wanted it...He said yes,sent a money-gram off to someone in Canada,end result money gone,no HOG....The authorities told him that some con-artists have found a way to hack into these on line sales;and insert another E-mail address and scam address to send the money to...BAD NEWS there is no way to get your money back in this kind of fleecing... Ya know what makes me the most angry over this??:veryangry:It takes a LOT of brain power to figure these things out-just imagine if all these"geniuses"would use their knowledge for the good of mankind;instead of thinking up new ways to get into our pockets...Are they doing satan's work??NO DOUBT......
