got the call today!

Feels mighty hot to be christmas, but that's sure how it feels....think I'll go check the tracking # , again!

i just got a f70 from Richard at Backwoods Detector.
Yesterday we placed the order and it was here before noon today. It is a mothers day present for my wife so i told him i need it by the weekend and he got it here fast..

Sweet, just tracked my f5 and it is about 200 miles away! They say it should be here by monday. Glad everyone is getting shipments.

Sweet!

I bought mine locally which means I didn't get all the extra goodies, like, head phones. So I went in to town and picked up a pair today. Since I had a few minutes to spare i hit a tot lot to try them out and my F5 picked up a very small west coast native silver ring. :clapping: My first ring!

That is amazingly fast! I ordered a F75 from him 2 days ago and he said he would be shipping today and would email a tracking number when he did. I'm still waiting on the number but he probably ships later in the day and I ordered on the weekend but I can hardly wait.

:beers: We want pictures! :beers:

Got mine today! After abrief study, took it out side and found 2 .22 casing a piece of wire, a piece of copper and my first penny. I really enjoyed the depth gauge and pin pointing was easy, had to go get a piece of vynle to put the dirt on, just could'nt see the metal for the dirt! Think I'm gonna sneak me a pro pointer when I get better. Been recovering from 2 shoulder surgeries.

Been tracking my F75 and should be here Monday. Took another detector I got from ebay (MD3050) to a park yesterday with a friend who has a new MXT300 and we spent all morning digging foil, buried fence posts, and old sprinkler pipes. I finally discriminated out the fence and pipe junk but the foil kept me digging as it was showing as a ring or dime on the cheap detector. I did find 2 clad pennies and a clad dime laying in the grass without any digging. Was using a CenTec pointer you can get from Harbor Freight for $16.99. What did I learn...need more experience, better detector, better pointer, and better digging tools. Ordered a Pistol Probe from Kellyco and bought a better shovel from Wal-Mart. Can hardly wait for the F75 to get here Monday!

I know what you mean about a better probe....I didn't have one and that is a pain in the ...so I called Mr. Bill and he was glad to send a pistol probe my way.

you will love the 75 !..start out in factory settings, and work from there!

Sounds good from everything I've read about it. Was hoping someone has tried it on prospecting gold to see how small it can pick up and under what conditions but have not read any comments on that other than it is really an all purpose machine and not intended for that dedicated purpose like a gold detector would be. That is why I have not canceled my order for a Gold Bug when they get the new ones at Kellyco.

i dont hunt gold, but it's great on coins!

Thanks Gary, always nice to know where your stuff comes from. I'm learning a lot from these posts and from the looks of it there is an endless amount of things to learn about in this hobby.
