Got the day off tomorrow....

due to being Good Friday. Joan has volunteered to mow the lawn, so guess where I am going in the morning bright and early? Just as a precaution, I put bricks around what is left of two of my rose bushes after Joan mowed over them the last time she mowed. Blamed it on darkness. Actually, she does a good job of mowing and she likes doing it.

Go get the gold and goodies! I never minded doing mowing and yardwork until I became too tired and became sick for days after doing it! I was a farm gal so outdoor work never bothered me unless it was just too hot and humid! Good luck and May God Bless! Amen! Ma Betty

Ask Joan if she wants to try my mower! It will eat bricks for dinner!

Hey Mike, we got one like that at the school. Love it. Are you kidding. She does enough damage with a push mower. Give her that thing and I'll have enough firewood for 3 years, and I don't even have a wood stove.:crylol: If we come up for the hunt, I will deny I said that or wrote that or whatever.

No doubt. She has a giving heart. She enjoys mowing the grass and I enjoy detecting, so we are perfectly matched in that area.

I mowed and kept the flower beds myself for many, many years after the divorce! Always did the weeding and gardening when we had one, anyway! Now, it has gotten too difficult for me to do what I used to do and was able to do!  May God Bless! Amen! Ma Betty

I always cut our grass, and we have a few acres of it to cut. I do the weedeater stuff and most everything else too. Matter of fact, I did all of that today. We have a few yards that we do for family and neighbors also. Sometimes Tim helps with those, and sometimes he doesn't. When he doesn't, it's because he has some other job going on or is sick.
