Got the Elite with the GP3000 shaft together

I was ask to post this when done with it. This is what I have done so far to get it ready, but may do some changing after I use it a bit.
First will be a picture of the complete unit. I was able to use the stock arm cuff and brackets off the Elite as they fit right one and with the control box bag it makes it nice as the cover can be closed as once you set it and have the remote pinpoint switch you dont need to get at the controls untill you are ready to quit.

This is the other side with my S1 probe mounted and placement of the meter and you can see the remote pinpoint switch. I have the wire you will see I dont have it fastened to the shaft yet for the remote pinpoint switch.

This you can see the remote pinpoint switch better.

Now you can see the meter I was able to pick up that is one of the NightHawk that has a light in it, but looks like it has to come apart to replace the battery for the light only as the meter is run off the Elite battery. I was going to find a SunRay DTI 2 or 3, or was going to build a bracket so the stock rescaled meter could be used as I needed it to sit up a bit to see it. I just found a deal on this meter is why i used it and they are basicly the same 180 meter other than 180 it is 1.80 as it has a decible point in it.
Now I may reverse the control box bracket so the control box can sit futher back to balance better, but I will see latter on after I use it a bit and see if I need too. One more thing I may be working on is a stand i seen on the fourms with some bendable alum flat iron.

I hope you enjoyed the pictures and now just for spring to get here so i can try it.
Rick

Thanks for posting the pics up and good luck with the stand.

Looks like it will swing nicely. Easy to use with that remote pinpoint too.
