Got the Pro coil today... I like it!

Two silver dimes and a buffalo nickel in a hard-hunted little park. I was kinda suprised, actually. I've gridded this park several times over 15 years. One spot I even took and dug EVERY metal signal with my CZ-5. These coins hit nice and solid and were deep - plugs the length of my Lesche digger plus a few inches. I noticed everything good seemed to hit really solid. Junk sounded junkier. I think I'm gonna like this coil a lot. It is much more what I expect my Explorer to be. Pinpointing is dead on.

The 1910 S wheatie I picked up yesterday evening using the old coil. First scarcer wheatie I think I have ever found. In decent shape too. Has a very yellow-brassy look to it.

Very nice finds Nick:clapping: I like my SE Pro coil as well, but can't get out as much as I would like. Good luck on your next outing. HH.

WTG, Nick!

I recently got the Pro Coil myself, and am enjoying it immensely. Dropkicked the Slimline coil over our back fence, but the neighbor threw it back! Oh well, maybe we can start a thread on what new uses we can propose for the Slimline (wagon/steering wheel, doorstop, etc.). Have fun with your new coil. Johnny
