about our finds. Not all trips out are huge producers. I know sometimes I tend to post just my better hunts but the newer people need to know they are not all big time digs.
I hit about 5-6 schools & park's tot lots today, dug 30 coins & a 1944 wheat. At 2 places I didn't get anything but junk. Hot, sweaty, but fun. That next sound might be a goodie is what keeps us going. The item in the pic is a silvery(not) looking button. steve in so az

as in had not so good hunts! :)

Always have to take the good and the bad. Just the pure enjoyment of God's wonderous creation keeps me going back out. If I happen to find something along the way, counted as a blessing. For example, water hunted with Mike from MI this morning. No one there but us, very peaceful and quite. Fish jumping in the water, some bird calling from a tree top. Very restful. Praise all of His creation.

got a fish hook, a tiny brass looking diamond(may be a charm, who knows) and a broken piece of a key ring. OH and the end of a broken pencil with eraser. thats my huge time out. Happy Huntin all.

but I usually make up for 'that skunked' feeling by finding God in the little creatures, birds, animals, insects, nature and the sky that turn those 'skunked' times into time of praise. Thank you God for all you have given me and to our family. Glory to God.

A very pretty button, Steve, and would make a nice setting for a ring! No, not all hunts are productive but they are stress releasing days with good exercize and being out in God's beautiful world enjoying the flowers, trees, birds and animals and even people who happen to stop and talk to me! Oh, how amazing our Father in heaven and Savior is......His wondrous works are AWESOME!!!

God Bless!
