GP double D pseudo-mono

Just woundering if there is a basic rule of thumb for the perforamce of the pseudo-mono when compared to a dedicated mono coil for eg.a 14 ins. dd switched to mono be the same as a 7.5-8ins dedicated mono ??

I dont know of too many professionals - (any) who use this feature. If you can get away with a monoloop in your conditions, - then you should be using one. The GP is proving to be very good with monos in ground that previously would have meant 'dd', (except in the worst mineralisation), you may want to try slowing down a lot in the bad ground to let the machine catch up.
Most GPs are using the meduim sized Monos, - 10" - 14" with good sucess.
