I plan on buying a used unit. What are somethings I need to do to make sure it is running properly? Thank you for any help you can give me. Newbe in this...
 
Hi the 5000 are a great detector ,i do not now if the warranty can be transferred in the USA as it is in AUS .on detectors produced after 8/2011. If it was me I would prefer one that has warranty.As for the 5000 i cannot think of any problems I am a member of a detecting club in Victoria Australia we detect for gold in the golden triangle many members are using 5000 good luck
