Waited for a cold, dreary day to hunt this field. I know this park gets touched up by someone in the summer, but took the LS in to see what's left. Well the right field side, coughed up a surface penny and very little trash. But drifting over into left field the sod started getting deeper. That's when the LS started detecting deeper signals. From the depths came weaker hi/low pleas, "help-me"! Unearthed 36 coins on that side, 5 to about 7 inches deep. Only 3quarters, 8 dimes, but 19 nickels, rest pennies. Hardly any trash. So this other hunter got the power to vacuum the right side and shallow targets targets on the left plus most quarter's. The nickels & dimes escaping to deeper depths. The biggest value here is keeping brushed up on the tones of pulse induction. One of the unusual holes went like this. Passed over a real good nickel signal. Dug a plug, dime. That ain't right. Probed, another deeper target. Four nickels laying inches below the dime. Just below the hilt of my digger, so around 7" or so. Conditions light chilly rain, I'm the only soul in the park. Way we like it.
Getting tuned up for heading south end of month.
