Gray Ghost Headphones

chuckciao

New member
Just purchased a pair of Original Gray Ghost Headphones and tried them out today. I immediately noticed that the tone separation, especially in the higher tones was not suitable. They were comfortable but the tone problem was bad enough for me to send them back. I had been using Garrett Deluxe Headphones which had excellent tone definition but unfortunately do not work anymore. Before I consider purchasing another pair of Garrett's, can anyone suggest another headphone that has excellent tone separation?
Thanks
Chuck

KOSS UR-30?.....with a higher Ohm I think they fit the X-terra better.I purchased a pair of Jolly Roger but they have as you said tone problem, doesnt fit my ears anyway. So I send them back.
Good Luck

Thanks Mike,
Good to hear of your experience and to know that I was not imagining the tone problem. I will check out the Koss Phones.

I second this!!! Sun Ray are the best!

Ok! Whats the nominal Ohm on Sunray...?
I use KOSS PortaPro right now,its not real MD-headphones but sound is greeeeat and they are featherlight, can go on for a whole day without any problem.Like to have volume control on the h-phones but I don't think the KOSS UR-30 comes with that..

Its not the not the most impotent,no I mean importent...haha..as long the sound is good..

Happy H to ya all out there.

EOS,

According to the Sun Ray advertisement they are a high output 150 ohm (nominal impedance) speaker elements.
