Great day in the morning -

and great afternoon too ! I had a teriffic day - hit a bunch of parks. dug 235 coins, 2 gold, 2 silver, 1 big ol hunkin commemorative medal. The 28 nickels today puts me over 1100 for the year so far.

Here's the goodies. The bird on the left is silver, the Catholic pendant is 10 K, the ring on the far right is stamped Mexico 925, and the gold ring on top is stamped 14 K and nothing else. I surely will take it to the jewelers to check the stones out.

Here's the ring close up - it sure looked great coming out of the chip bark, made all those knee bends worth while.

And here's a commerative coin - it's larger than a silver dollar! Anyone have any info on it ? I'll have to research it tonight. Make that tomorrow - I'll be dead from digging tonight. steve in so az

of the event is there but the mint date isn't. In an article about it they say it's still minted so who knows. steve
