Great News on the 2nd job hunt!!!

I just got off of the phone with my old job, I am eligible for rehire!!!! They are going to call my old supervisor (from over a year ago) today and ask him what he thinks of me. The funny thing is I am going to his house this weekend to watch the UFC fight He is one of my best friends. I told him to expect a call.
I wont work for him again but its still funny. So it looks like I am going to get my second job soon. It will be just $10 an hour, but its all for just playing around with. My day job pays the bills...
I made a list of some of the things that I want to buy:

Very nice land detector (for use in older sites)
Very nice under water detector
GPS unit for geo caching
$500 for coin roll hunting
Sun-Ray pinpointer (for my ace 250, my everyday detector)
AK-47 (I just always wanted one)
and an stackable apartment size washer & dryer (I'm tired of going to the laundry mat)

After I buy all of these things, then just double down on my car payments.

If it were me, I'd blow off the second job. Concentrate on detecting and use my loot to finance my vices. Get a second job during the winter.

I don't recall seeing a photo of the 18k ring. If it weighs 10 grams it is worth some bucks.

It is easier to weigh in grams unless your scale weighs in troy ounces. Precious metals are never weighed in standard ounces. Here is a helpful chart. When I made it gold was $800/ounce. Your ring is a real find!

I thought it was kind of funny you were talking about a second job. I thought I was going to Fl. this week and I turned down a job offer. I had to commit to 14 days of work, without missing one day, 12 hr. days. It was a power plant shut down. They were going to pay me $10,450 for two weeks work. I never made that kind of money. It killed me to turn them down. Oh well, more time for MD'ing.

nah, my scale has 4 or 5 weight settings, I just didn't know what scale to use for gold. I have always bought and sold silver so I just used the ounce scale out of habbit.


And it is true, there is more to life than money, but in this instance, I want the money so I can buy more stuff!!!!! The last big thing I bought myself before I quit more than a year ago was my 61" Samsung DLP HDTV. I like to spoil myself... So I have no problem working a 2nd jobs just to spoil myself...

I will keep going out on weekends, just like now, and the night job isn't going to be permanent, just until I get what I want The lord has already been blessed with a fantastic 1st MDing season, Believe it or not, I'm not greedy, I have told 3 other people the location of the boyscout camp, I even gave them maps and everything. Whenever we all go out to hunt, I have always been one of the first to show up, and I am always the last one to leave. My patience/ persistence pays off in the end. In my last video,
Even if I don't get in much more time detecting this season, I will have all of my ducks lined up in a row for next season.
Besides, I really want a totally submersible metal detector, and a deep seeking (ground penetrating sonar) detector . These will be my birthday and Christmas presents to my self.

Shoot I only have one job and don't have the time to MD as much as I'd like to.

Also, GeoCaching will suck you in and even take up more time - I know from experience but it is FUN!
