Great Night in Va Beach

Decided to go to the Va Beach oceanfront last night to work the 11:30pm low tide. It was a moonlit night, very breezy and very rough surf. Got there at 8pm and used my secret parking place and got on the beach near 32nd St. Walked the dry sand line to the pier and found nothing but bottle caps and clad. Walked back in the wet sand line and found more clad and a stainless steel fork. Bumped into Nancy again and she had just recovered a cute gold watch that looked like it had small diamonds all over it. Cold, tired, wet, hungry, it was now close to low tide so I decided to take the Surmaster PI in the surf to get even more wet and cold. It was now 10:30pm. I was working the area where the surf would crash and then retreat leaving an open area between waves. Everything below was found from 10:45 to 11:45 within 200 yards in a straight line heading back up the beach. First it was the gold necklace. Then the large gold hoop. Then the silver bracelet. Then the large silver hoop. Then the small rings. At 12 mid I decided to call it quits. All in all, a GREAT night! I just got the Surfmaster PI 10 days ago and it has opened up the deep sands!

I found my share. There are several more rings I got in July and and August with it. One is a nice 14K 9.1 gram band that fits and another is a heart shaped blue topaz in 14K with six nice little white full cut diamonds.
The big ring below was pulled out Aug 31 of the wet sand with a CZ20. Love those midtones!
As for the Whites PI Pro it's stable, fun and has gotten small gold for me down to a 1 gram 14K white gold heart. I really trust it, no problems in two seasons. I have one complaint - I'm not impressed with it's ability to find chains with small clasps that weigh 14 grams or less. Like nearly no signal.
How much does the chain weigh you found? What was the signal like?
I get a better response on testing chains with my CZ20, a real dig signal with the sens even at 6 the setting that works in the salt. Been using the CZ20 mainly in the fresh water and wet salt beaches. Time to get it real salty in the drink!
Congrats on your success! <img src="/metal/html/super.gif" border=0 width=26 height=28 alt=":super">
