i found a ring with green growth on it, does this happen to gold rings or not?
What detector do you have? I am not sure myself if gold can do this?I don't think so.Copper and brass can turn green that has been in the ground a long time. This is called green patina. If you did find a ring with green patina you may very well have a very old ring and also a good huntin spot.So come back and let us know what you find out.Or just hang out and talk. It's free and fun to talk teckting . :-D
