worked trying to clean out the garage, yesterday, but still have more to go and then I'll have to rent a dumpster for the junk in there and in the basement. My poor aged bones, muscles and backs say, :Ma, you are too old to be doing all of that! I have to mow the lawn today, but it is cooler! Praise God for favors, as the heat and humidity really get to me! :)

Hope all are able to get out and detect and are finding some nice goodies! Also praying for good reports in all the prayer requests!

God Bless!

you and Cliff take it easy! Don't over due it! I did get out for a short hunt this morn before work and got a few keepers! Details tonight! :)

I feel for you Betty! I've done that clean up thing a few times, and even a younger guy like me can wear out quickly! Stick with it and keep that prize in your sight!

Thank you all for your kind words and we try not to overdo....I know when I get too tired and can't work any longer without getting to the point of exhaustion but sometimes to get it done, I do! Cliff can't do much at all as he isn't able to breathe well even with his oxygen! He was asking tonight about his fingernails and why they are blue and I told him I guess they aren't getting the oxygen they need! I know people turn blue without oxygen, soooo my guess is his lack of oxygen is the cause! He has really went downhill healthwise since a year ago! He was a lot of help and very strong until last fall when he became ill and coughed a lot and deeply.....now he hacks and tries to get his lungs clear of congestion.
He is taking Mucinex and that helps! I take it when I have it on hand but ran out for myself! I don't go shopping very often; therefore, we run out of things before getting out again! But God is goood and prayers work, so I pray for him!

God Bless!

seem to be into hauling stuff away for free. Might save you having to rent a dumpster.

Take it easy and don't over do....like I should talk. I've lost about 12 pounds since I started working somewhat full time last week. I need to force myself to take some breaks.

Hi Pete! We are sorting the metal and will be taking it to the place that buys scrap metal. I have a lot from detecting for many years and I save the aluminum cans for cash, too. We have recycling of plastic, paper, cardboard and etc., so most of it will be recycled! What we need to get rid of is an old worn out mattress and box spring from the 1960's. I finally replaced them with newer ones which were on the bed my son used and then used as a spare-bedroom. We have an old sofa bed and chair in the basement which we plan to cut up, as it is well worn and purchased in 1964. We are sorting the wood too and hope to sell the old Maple TV as wood or a dry sink. Sooooo, you see I don't throw anything away or not much anyway. The sofa bed was used a lot while my grandsons were younger and when my son and his wife lived with us! Hey, don't toss, because we might need it! This warning goes back to the depression when mom and dad and others had a hard time making a living!

I mowed the front and one side and part of the south side, soooo I have the back yard and that to finish mowing today, before it decides to rain again and make the yard too wet. REally green and growing fast from all the rain! Even the weeds!

Don't work to hard yourself and take a break once in awhile.....Do you see how God worked it out for you to have more hours and not have to put up with the swingers? God is goooood! Give Him the praise and the glory!

God Bless!

Thank you, Paul and yes we are for God is gooood and He will see us through to the end of our earthly life! The most important part of this life is to be ready to go in death or the rapture! We have had and do have financial problems but our Lord meets our needs and I give God Praise and Thank, Jesus, for mercy and grace to keep faith in Him and to keep on, keepin' on living a Christian life!

I mowed the back yard Tues and then finished the side yard Wed. It has been a beautiful day today but just too tired to do anything, so Cliff and I are resting for tomorrow when we have to go shopping which tires us both out! :)

God Bless!
Betty
