Nice arsenal of Garrett detectors. I have been a Garrett user for about 15 years. Last year I got my hands on a Scorpion, and OMG, what a great machine it is! It must have been forgotten with all the new machines marketed during the last several years. It is a ring magnet. It loves anything shaped like a ring, and really lets you know about it too with the audio. And I just love it as a coin hunter too.
Anyhow, looking forward to hearing your stories and seeing your finds.

Oh, rglyons, I'll admit my wife does indeed show me up from time to time with that coin magnet.
And John-Edmonton, I definitely agree with you about that Scorpion. I love the way she speaks to me. I nicknamed mine "Argonaut" many years ago. In addition to the 5"x10" DD & 3"x7" DD I use the 4.5" Crossfire Gold Hunter that absolutely DOMINATES the tot lots.
