Ground balance adjust & threshold....

This is my 3rd vaquero, however it's the first with this "warbely" threshold when adjusting the gb, in otherwords, the threshold revs up then evens out when I'm ground balancing. Why do some machines do that and others don't? my outlaw did it for the short while I had it.

my vaqueros threshold did something like that once when ground balancing. threshold had like a slow pulsing sound in all metal. i was near an underground pump station for a city water supply. i think it was emi from it. still detected there and found stuff. was the only time it did though.

my outlaw does it in a few different locations. I'm pretty sure if I called the Fcc it would either be the strange antennas mounted in the one park or related to communications used by the fire dept next to the other park. All of the local high schools have added solar panels above their parking lots and I'm pretty sure none of that has gone through fcc compliance testing and has not been properly filtered.

I have had 2 outlaws and one Bandido uMax that did this but none of the 3-4 Vaquero's seemed to do it. It's like the threshold goes really high then comes back down?
