Ground balancing F70???

Hello everyone I was wondering how the ground balance should act when you ground grab? when I ground balance I get the 2 digit number but I get bits of sound as I raise and lower the coil I have the F75 coil on right now is this normal??? As long as I get a good 2 digit number is it balanced?? Any help would be great! Thank you
 
Steve I think you are making it harder than it should be. Just take it easy. When I ground balance I pump the F70 up and down a few times and start to hunt. I also ground balance when I have moved some distance or when conditions have changed or when a long time has passed. It is so simple to do and your detector hums along much better.
