ground phase shift question

Could you please tell me what phase shift due to ground influence (approx. magnitude in degs) can I expect?

the value is variable,depending on many factors--
minerals,salts,water,ph,--it might be reasonable
to apply a value in a general way for a particular
area (emperically derived) and "view'it as a
psedo-constant.

OK, but values should I expect? I know it may vary, but what is the practical ("normal", low Fe, no or low content of conductig salts, ca 7.5 pH) range - could you please send some examples?
