ground phase shift question

A

Guest
Hi All,
Could you please tell me what phase shift due to ground influence (approx. magnitude in degs) can I expect?
Regards,
pp

the value is variable, depending on many factors--
minerals,salts,water,ph,--it might be reasonable
to apply a value in a general way for a particular
area (emperically derived) and "view'it as a
psedo-constant.

OK, but values should I expect? I know it may vary, but what is the practical ("normal", low Fe, no or low content of conductig salts, ca 7.5 pH) range - could you please send some examples?
Regards,
pp

Hi Pawel,
The best place to ask this question is on the Geotechnology Forum. They have experts there in the type of detector technology that utilises phase shifts.
Eric.

also frequency dependent.,best to establish
by experiment.
