Whats the difference between these two detectors? other than $$$$

Basaically the 2500 has true all metal and a couple of more bells and whistles. If you don't need or prefer all metal the 1500 will perform the same and is one of the best coinshooters out there as that is what it was designed for.

Yeah, and the 2500 can be fitted with Treasure Hound w/Eagle Eye depth multiplier(two-box unit)if ya wanna bring a back-hoe along to do some diggin'
