GTI 2500 Depth multiplier

The Treasure Hound would be good for finding buried caches of coins in a jar or placed in a tin can. And to find out where dumps are for relic and bottle digging.Of course it would also find a pirates treasure chest, but I doubt if they are very common. They don't pick up items as small as coins, so that would help in a nail infested place. How deep? Depends on the size of the target and type of soil. I would guess finding a pop can sized object down to 4-5 feet would seem reasonable. A larger item even deeper.

Here's a link to a field test on a previous 2 box system from Garrett:

Yeah it'll get four feet easy but four feet is a long hard way to dig. There ain't many treasures buried that deep and certainly not at at twenty feet unless they're at the bottom of the ocean or the Beale treasure. When people buried stuff they buried it at a depth easy to get to - not hours and hours of digging.

In the article it mentions he went to the abandoned Cherrokee Gold mine. Well Ive have been there also many times and have found good gold there in my pan. Also about 2 miles down the road from there at the Sixes gold mine is where I found my 1/4 oz Georgia Gold nugget....Thanks for the good read, Miss Georgia sometimes. Brought back good memories of mining there.

Hey guys!, thanks for all the comments, I appreciate them. Now I have a good idea of what its supposed to do, I thought it was not as good or deep as the other brands, now I can see that all performs pretty much the same way. My intention is to find old spanish artifacts and guns, in a family land, where 30 years ago have been found a musket and a spaniard helmet. Last week i found a musket ball so I think I'm getting closer, lol, now I just need to go deeper, :).

Thanks again, I'll get my treasure hound and go hunting!
