GTI1500 this summer

Hi Gang

Here is the revised total of coins from April this yr untill
yesterday for the 1500 .

$162.13 mostly new stuff not counting 11 wheat pennies from
the 50s 2 gold plated rings 1 white gold 14k
2 macth box cars 7 tokens an allen wrench on a keychain
1 britany spears token 3 religious medals 1 silver plated cross
3 dog tags ( for dogs) 1 10mm pisotl cartridge 1 belt buckle kinda new
a few cheap rings bottle opener ( old kind) and 3 house keys

This am using the tips i got here ( slow jewlery settting etc )
2-17 in 20 minutes from a local park Not bad while keeping one eye on the dog
One of thses dyas i may leave him at home ... MAYBE

I appreciate all the info and look forward to hearing from anyone with ideas and tips

Nice job, that is alot of coins and some gold, white gold at that. Seems you have a little of everything.:thumbup:

Can you train that dog to find coins for you? I always thought it is possible. :rofl:Metal in the ground must give off a smell.
 
I started with the ACE250 The GTI took a lot of learing (for ME anyway)
I still have a lot to learn about the unit.
I got lucky because a lot of teh coins were found in 2 or 3 spots that
were apparently used for a kids coin hunt and the kids must have been
lazy!
the other stuff i just got lucky on because something just said Dig ..
Anyway Im happy with the GTI and gla i took the time to learn
and get over the initial frustration...As to the dog he does his job
when im detecting.. hes keep the invading squirells away and
provides vital nutrients for plants and trees!!!!!
