hi all,
i'm using my friend's 2500 and want to know about the all-metal mode. how do i ground balance it? can i have belltone on when in all-metal? or do i have to keep looking at the meter for good hits? also, gti2500 users: what are some of the deepest coins you've found in all-metal mode? thanks alot!

Wasn't very nice of him to loan you a detector without the manual. It tells you how to ground balance. It's really quite easy. Press and hold All Metal/Fast Track. Raise your coil about 2 feet off the ground and then lower it, keep "bouncing" it up and down till the tone in your phones stays at nearly one tone. You're ready to go!! And yes, it belltones in All Metal.
