GTP 1350

i think you will really enjoy the 1350 and it appears you got a good buy on the machine.if you are mainly going to search for coins and jewelry it will work just fine..as with all machines there is a learning curve.i would make me a test garden where you would plant various coins etc at different depths. This will give you a general idea as to what the machine will do.also when you first start out i would spend a lot of time searching in the factory set coins mode.give yourself about forty hours of use to get the basics down.be careful not to set the sensitivity two high this might cause the machine to be a little unstable and give false signals.I'm sure others will give you good advice.good luck and good hunting.

You've got a great machine!! Test in on your Hungarian coins to see where they hit on your display. Hopefully they will respond like our US coins and you will have an easy time getting the coins without digging too much junk!! Welcome to the hobby and I hope you can post some great finds!

Welcome to the forum..Looking forward to some of your posted finds..

You have one of the best there is but it has a bit of a learning curve for a newbie. Just take your time and check in here for help and advice. It's a very sensitive detector so start hunting with your sensitivity set at about 6 or 6.5 till you get used to it. Keep the profiling turned off while scanning. All detectors have good depth. That's not the prime reason to buy a detector.
