GTP1350 Nickels

What do you mean "almost to the foil" ? The setting ?
I have worked my way down on the disc scale over the years on my Fisher 1266 and have dug lots more nickels, foil, junk, etc. But - I have increased my gold find tremendously as well. Steve in so az
 
Usually I find nickels near the nickel setting, but in this one park, it is almost to my foil tab, unusual to find them that close to the foil tab!
 
:garrett: I too use the Garrett GTP 1350 and have, from time to time, found nickles that registered foil on my screen. It was then that I learned that nickles, in particular, react differently in different kinds of soils. For instance, if the soil was acidic and heavily fertilized, the nickles showed in the foil range. Food for thought...
