Guns And Roses...

Or should I say "Guns and ROSIES"

Hit a couple of old heavily hammered spots today, seeing if I could coax a few more. Had a little success at each place. One was an old home site, one spot the woods, and one spot was a field. I got the silver at the old house (48 and 46 Rosie and 43 quarter) and the gun on the left, which is real. I got the fake gun in the field and also the minnieballs. I got the musketballs in the woods. I got wheats at all the spots, 6 total. The cap gun is a "Texan Jr.", circa 1960. The other one is some cheapie 45 replica which is actually a 22, complete with clip but no barrel.

Not a bad day...it was good to get out and swing. It was sunny and right near 50 for a high.

Come on down! In fact, come on the 4th of July weekend and I can promise you some great beach hunting and almost certain gold. Come down now and I can promise you we will traipse around for hours digging holes and maybe find some stuff, maybe not. I got lucky today because these are sites my buddies don't even want to hunt anymore because they are so beat and so tough as far as iron and stuff. But no site is ever hunted out, as they say.
