guts of the excal

This has probably been answered a hundred times but........does anyone know what the guts of the Excal are based upon? Is it the soverign xs, xs2, xspro, ect., etc.

When the Xcal 1000 and 800 came out it was to bring it up to the level of the XS2 which was released about 5-6 months earlier. Whether they have made any improvements in it since they came out with the Elite and GT I don't know.
