Hit an old homesite down a few from the last one I had success at. I had detected this place before but I missied some.
A cool large cent 1835. Which was a surprise. Plus the 1878 Indian head is a good date to find.
I believe the button is silver. Also the 1918D Buff and a silver war nickel. 44P. Fun stuff. Jim

good job ! thx for sharing. old homesites are my favorites also. will start on my 1st here in Fla. tomorrow a.m. haven't detected for 20 yrs till I just got the Explorer 2 wks ago. sure is taking me time to learn with all the options. how is yours set up for these old homes?
 
Iron mask -10. Sensitivity, whatever the ground allows, today was 19. Gain at 7. Variability at 8. Conductive. Fast and Deep on. Thats how I hit all spots. To each his own. Jim
