...I don't think this place has been detected. Only covered a small part of the place too. The wheaties were like clad. I found 20 of em one is a 1909 VDB but no S. Darn.

The silver was poping up along with the wheaties. 6 of em.

looked like corroded slugs except for one. Very nice bunch of goodies Jim. I wish I could find a spot like that. All research leads me to fields or lots with 6 foot high weeds and more of a Jurassic Park setting. I then head back to my 30 year hunted to death sites.
 
I found this site online plus recieved permission via e-mail. Love the internet. We have a historic marker site for Michigan online. Shows all (most) the historic sites plus where they are located. I have found many a place to detect this way. Jim
 
Awesome Indians. All the ones I find are corroded with a heavy green. Rarely in as nice condition as yours. Tough beating the numbers of silver you caught in one day. I'm going to try that Historic marker site for my state. Great idea, thanks.

:detecting:Looks like Virgin Ground to me Jim C. Best dig all good targets since you wouldn't want to miss a Gold Ring or possibly a Gold Coin. You never know what may lay beneath the surface until you dig the targets. You sure found a Honey Hole, so work it hard and make sure to overlap your sweeps. Continued Success, Good Luck and HH.
