today I was detecting another buddies house, he said he thinks it is 1920 area of age. Anyhow I am finding lots of modern coins, some more wheats (finding a LOT of wheats this week) and my first ever half dollar, that was cool.

anyhow, the neighbor who is outside doing yard work is watching me and I thought I'd go over and chat with him. I asked him how old the house was I was detecting and he replied, not sure. But then he tells me his house was the first house built on that street and it was 130+ years old. Next thing out of his mouth was
"if you want to dig in my yard, feel free to do so!" :clapping:

he tells me he has lived there since 1970 and no one has ever detected it in the 38 years he has lived there. So I explained to him I only have about 2 hours per day free time before work, and as soon as I get my buddies house done I will be right over, and thanked him over and over.

So I am not posting any pics today I will finish this yard and post up everything at once. Today so far I got 23 coins, including a half dollar (1972) 3 more wheaties, a match box car. I think this yard has some silver...........well I am HOPING :wiggle:

I finally got to MD that site I told you about. Unfortunately all I found was iron, railroad spikes
and other pieces of metal railroad related. I would like to have found some old coin but not today.
Lousy mding today but the weather was absolutely beautiful. Some bee, maybe it was a yellow
jacket, decided to try to sting me but his Butt is history. He just barely got his stinger in me (barely broke the skin)
before I squashed his black and yellow striped $@#$@!!!!:veryangry:
I have a lot of area to cover at this site so I may still find some coinage.

I live in Barnwell,SC and there is two (2) house here that were built in the mid 1800's. I have not got up the nerve yet to go and ask the owners if I may do a little MDing around their yard. Think I may get around to it this week and see if I can do some digging. Will let y'all know if it happens......

Was in Mytle Beach this past weekend and got down to the beach one (1) time on Sat. for about an hour and a half, but the finds were very limited to say the least. My total finds came to a grand total of three (3) coin, with a value of $0.16. That would be a, dime, a nickle, and a penny.. WOW
