Had another really lousy hunt but found another cell phone and reunited it with its owner..

The last few hunts have really been frustrating. I'm about ready to hang it up, sell all my tectors, and take up needle point as a hobby. Hit three playgrounds this afternoon and picked up a whopping 25 cents - plus a cell phone. People just ain't losing coins or there are five detector owners on every block. This is the third cell phone I've found in the past two weeks and like the other two I was able to return it to its owner, a young lady who was very happy to get it back. I don't know why folks don't keep their phones in a holster like I do.

Bill - I would love for you to come on up to Central NY and hunt with me for a weekend (Just imagine all the great things I could learn from you!) I have more productive sites to hunt then I have time to hunt them!

Yeah I would love to do that. When I retired I had planned on traveling around and detecting different parts of the country but when my wife was struck down with MS that put an end to that dream. Oh well I can dream.

Well buddy. This is only my second season and I know that it can feel frustrating sometimes. Then there are the times like yesterday when I walk into a park, turn the machine on and within three swings I hit a 47 silver quarter which sets my day. Hang in, it will turn for you, it always does.
