Had election Day off-heres what I did...

..Went and voted at 7AM-Outta there at 7:10;headed for the BEACH over Lexington way on Lake Huron!!!-The old Garrett 1350 GTA came thru again-found coins,no jewelry-Found a 1954 Jefferson nickel,easily 12"deep in the sand-the DEEPEST,and OLDEST coin Ive found at that beach-its in pretty good shape,too!!-Interestingly,thats the same year I was born-1954!!!Spent a couple hours there(GORGEOUS weather!!); came back home,cleaned our Church (Im janitor there);went to the store;bought fixins for PIZZA for me and my wife's supper;(bought a BEER there,too)-got home,put on some shorts;got out my lounger,drank my beer,and watched the world go by...at 2PM;laid down for a 2 Hr.:clsoedeyes:nap-!!:thumbup:...ALL THIS,and I got PAID for it-Had Electioon Day off from work,PAID!!!

Well, WG Steve, the Lord blessed you with the nickel having the same date year of your birth and then with beautiful weather to hunt in and cleaning the church with a day off with pay! Sounds like as busy as you were you needed a nap! :biggrin:
