Decided to do two parts so I could post more pics
Today, I went back to my newest spot (1940's picnic area). After using a large coil all day last week, I put on the small coil
hoping to find some good stuff inbetwwen the trash signals.Judging by what I found last week, I figured I might get a couple silvers today.
I never expected to find as much as I did
I started out where I found one of last weeks quarters. It seemed to be one of the trashier areas.

I don't think I had been detecting more than ten minutes when I found this.

Less than a 1/2 hour later, I got a quarter signal that was less than an inch down. I pulled it out and just assumed it was clad because it was pretty dark. Then, I rubbed it ....that's when I realized it was silver.

I think someone put this key around their neck so the wouldn't lose it.... oops..guess they lost it

I also found some wheats a buffalo nickel and this silver ring in this area.
The ring says 1947 BKBS on the top. I have no idea what the BKBS stands for...yet.

After I felt I did a thorough job there, I moved a little further up.... and the good sounds kept coming.
I found a 43P war nickel, another buffalo nickel, Mercury dimes and then the second silver ring for the day.

You'll have to check out part2 for the rest...I wanted to post more pics
