So I wiped the dust off and headed to Halltown on Friday morning. I had read somewhere that the one hill was still huntable so I went to see if the guys left anything. And I was suprised at how much the place had changed expecially the ground man it was like a rock. Did find a few goodies though, 4 more Eagle buttons and a nice flower button with a Leavenworth & Co Backmark(110 buttons total)some lead and the tent grommet with the nail still through the hole, and a piece to a trigger guard with the screw still attached..HH..Hey guys I`ll be in touch...Bruce

Glad to see you got out digging again. Thas a sweet looking flower button. Hope to bimp coils with you soon.
John

Your "tent" grommet goes to a rain poncho. The nail was probably to connect one grommet to another, like a button. Nice finds <img src="/metal/html/smile.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":)"> David @ Dixie
