Dropped sens and got up tight, found a little there and in the wide open main, some good hunter picked these well...Went over to a large school complex and commenced to work the soccerfields. Deep thatch, newly mowed, wet cut grass sticking to the coil...I remember thinking its about 5-10 swings between pings..swing wide, find the zone....gonna be a slow day...then I found the lane, well, several of them actually. Started getting several multidenom stacks and spills, some quite nice, the one I remember was 6dimes, a nickel and a P. Several Q spills add up the count fast. Hit the silver ring deep, got lucky with a stab and didn't have to dig... Hit the school door entrances and snow pile zones..focused up on foil around the BB courts....don't need a pouch, just the screwdriver..quick broom both sides of the pavement and move...Around 9am...Had to do a Factory reset as the frost was melting, the readings were all over the place and the wet grass/thatch was deep, making PP and quick stabbing tough. Around 11:45 got my last target of the day, a dollar coin, been a while...pouch was feeling heavy, so I knew I had done alright. Got a silver ring and a silver bangle. Got 146 coins for 14.15 dumped them in the tumbler with 50 more from yesterday (4.52)
Getting more nickels this year as the focus is on Gold! F70 running 11"dd sens 65ish, -3thresh, 1disc, and DP tones...scouted a little of the soccer tournaments that were gearing up for the weekend just to see what kind of crowd was hanging, and where...glassed the crowd with the bushnells from a discreet distance, checking out the vehicles for obvious signs of wealth. looking like a perv probably, though nobody noticed invisible me looking for signs of gold. What a rambling mess this post is.
