Hey Pep's,

Just wondering if anyone uses any type of protective covering over their Foam Handle grip?

Or am I the only one that worries about tearing or trashing the foam grip...

I have been thinking of several different items to use..

Either a Blk Ace Bandage...... Or what I use on My Bow "LimbSavers"
Tentacle Grip....

I have seen them taped up various ways, but a tennis racket grip type seems to work well...In any case the handle seems to hold up well so personally don't use any of the above....

I use Saran wrap with electrical tape the mud doesn't stick to it as bad and it is easy to change and cheap I also wrap my x-1 box with it all the way to the lower rod makes clean up easy HH RonC

using my EXP II for extreme conditions CW relic-hunting. Such conditions as rain, snow, severe heat and cold, with and without gloves, crawling through briars, thick undergrowth and all kinds of other bad stuff. I admit that the EXP II has a cheap looking grip without any kind of thickness to give your hand a comfortable grip but heck, it's still intack after using it many, many, many, many hours since I bought it on 10-8-03. HH, :) :minelab:

OOhhhh Hell no.. You didn't just go there....:surrender: LOL

I hated that with the Plastic rug runners in all.... Haha..

I just don't want my investment looking Cheesy after a while...

Hi guys,
Now you are going to hate this, (tips from a woman) my husband has some kind of rubber tubing that you slip over the handle. Then you take a heat gun and it shrinks to the size of the handle and fits tight and snug, you have a brand new handle.

Regards Maureen..
