May you all have a GREAT Easter;and dont forget to attend Easter Sunday services-Celebrating our Savior's RESURRECTION!!!AMEN!!!.....Last night at work;my supervisor told me"Steve,I need to talk to you-Wait for me in the office".....Naturally;I started thinking I was in for a:ranting:;but could not figure out why...WELL_when the foreman came in and locked the door behind him;(They only do that when something SERIOUS is happening);I thought Im in for it now...The foreman looked at me and said"WHY ARE YOU SO NERVOUS,STEVE??"I said "well, usually locking the door is a bad sign for whoever is in here"...He laughed and said"NO-THIS IS A GOOD THING FOR YOU!!"...he went on to say thjat the bottom line for our business is production numbers;the more the better-Then he told me since I came to 3rd shift to be set-up man(changing over machines between jobs);I have been setting RECORD LOW TIMES for machine set-up between jobs-THEN he gave me a $50.00 gift card from the company to a local restaurant for a job well done...shook my hand, and said"Keep up the good work"!!!This was TOTALLY unexpected, and very much appreciated...It brings to mind the Scripture "DO EVERYTHING AS UNTO THE LORD";I put EVERYTHING I got into my job....:wiggle:

Hey, that's great!!! Nice job you got there!! God loves us all!!

glad it had a great ending to the situation. We are so trained to think the worst we get ourselves concentrating on what ifs and such we forget God is in control.

Congrats Steve

He said, "No matter what job you have in life, whether pushing a broom or working behind your desk, do it the best you can"

The important thing I've learned is not to "expect" anything from anyone for doing the best job you can. That's what God wants you to do. However, it sure is nice when the company does something like that. As a Manager, I do something like that with my department too. Sometimes just a letter of appreciation for a job well done is all it takes.

Congrats Steve!
